(hereinafter referred to as Danica Bohinj d.o.o.) strive to ensure the accuracy and up-to-date nature of the information on its website with the utmost care. The General Terms and Conditions for online purchase or reservation apply as a contract. In the case of online reservations, it is assumed that the Guest has read and agrees to these General Terms and Conditions.

Protection and Use of Personal Data

Danica Bohinj d.o.o. will protect all obtained data about the Guest in accordance with applicable Slovenian and European legislation.

By providing their email address, the Guest agrees to receive occasional notifications via email from Danica Bohinj d.o.o.

Reservation of Capacities

Danica Bohinj d.o.o. offers:

  • pitch rental at Camp Danica,
  • cabin Stan rental at Camp Danica,
  • room rental at Guesthouse Danica,
  • apartment rental at Guesthouse Danica.

Danica Bohinj d.o.o. na spletni strani ponuja možnost neposredne rezervacije pri čemer Gost kot zagotovilo vnese podatke o kreditni kartici. Ob potrditvi rezervacije Danica Bohinj d.o.o. naslednje kreditne kartice: Maestro, Mastercard, Visa, Diners. Za garancijo rezervacije je potrebna veljavna kreditna kartica.

The credit card serves as a guarantee for the Guest’s arrival. In case of a no-show or late cancellation, the Guest’s credit card will be charged in accordance with the cancellation policy, and the Guest will be notified via the provided email address.

Za rezervacijo PARCELE ali KOČE STAN v Kampu Danica ali SOBE ali APARTMAJA v Gostišču Danica je potrebno predplačilo v višini 30% celotne storitve (stroški nastanitvene enote). V roku 3 dni od oddane rezervacije bo Danica Bohinj d.o.o. za ta znesek bremenila Gostovo kreditno kartico. Po opravljeni transakciji bo Gost na e-naslov prejel uradno potrdilo rezervacije skupaj s potrdilom o opravljeni transakciji. Predplačilo bo odšteto od končnega zneska ob odjavi ali plačilu storitve.

If the credit card cannot be charged for the specified amount, the Guest’s reservation will not be processed/confirmed.

In case of problems with entering the credit card, the Guest should contact the reservation service at Danica Bohinj d.o.o. with the desired dates, number of persons, and unit type at the email address [email protected], where further information about the reservation process will be provided to the Guest.

After completing the final step in the online reservation system, the Guest will receive an automatic reservation confirmation or instructions for possible further steps at their email address. The Guest should also check their spam folder in their email inbox. If the Guest does not receive the confirmation via email, they can verify the reservation status with the reservation service at Danica Bohinj d.o.o. by calling +386 (0)71 888 887 or sending an email to [email protected].

Online Purchase or Reservation Process

In the purchase process, the Guest will follow these technical steps:

  • The Guest selects the accommodation.
  • Gost izbere datum prihoda in odhoda.
  • Gost izbere število oseb.
  • The Guest selects the type of units or pitches and the price list or package.
  • Gost vnese zahtevane osebne podatke, podatke o kreditni kartici in pregleda izbrano rezervacijo.

After completing the reservation or purchase, the Guest will receive a confirmation message at their email address. The invoice will be received after the service is completed at the Camp Danica reception. The Guest may enter the reservation system at different steps, where, depending on the selected cookie usage permissions, some reservation criteria may already be preselected.

Technical Steps Leading to the Conclusion of the Contract or Reservation

Step 1: Selection of Accommodation

The Guest selects an accommodation on the website.

Step 2: Selection of Arrival and Departure Dates

In the second step, the Guest selects the desired arrival and departure dates, based on availability.

Step 3: Selection of Number of Persons and Units

In this step, the Guest specifies the number of adults and children and the number of units in the online reservation system. If the number of adults or children does not match the accommodation capacity, the system will alert the Guest to the necessary configuration change.

Step 4: Selection of Accommodation Type and Price List or Package

The Guest selects the appropriate type of accommodation and the price list or package. The system will display the final price, including VAT, which is only indicative. The final calculation depends on the actual data and services determined upon check-out at the Camp Danica reception.

Step 5: Entering Guest Data and Reviewing the Selected Reservation

The Guest sees a brief overview of the selected reservation, enters their first and last name, address, email address, and credit card details. The following credit cards are accepted: Maestro, Mastercard, Visa, Diners. In this step, the Guest familiarizes themselves with the business and privacy terms. To complete the purchase, the Guest must confirm their agreement with these terms and click on “complete reservation” to finalize the purchase process.

Step 5b: Entering Credit Card Details to Secure the Reservation

Gost vnese podatke o plačilni kartici za zavarovanje rezervacije. V tem primeru se kreditna kartica ne bremeni in služi le kot garancija rezervacije. Kreditna kartica se bremeni zgolj v primeru prepozne odpovedi ali neprihoda. Gost v tem primeru na e-naslov prejme račun za storitev.

After the payment is completed or the reservation confirmation is received, the purchase is completed.Po opravljenem plačilu oz. prejeti potrditvi rezervacije je nakup zaključen.

Technical Tools Enabling the Identification and Correction of Errors Before Submitting the Order/Reservation

Before submitting a reservation, the Guest has the option through the graphical user interface to:

  • View and review the services they wish to purchase,
  • View and review the price of each service and the total price of the entire selected service based on the chosen number of persons, unit type, and package or price list,
  • Change the selected number of persons, number and/or type of unit, package or price list, and calculate the new price based on the changed selections,
  • Change the selected payment method (where this option is available).

With the final confirmation, the Guest submits the order to Danica Bohinj d.o.o. The system automatically sends an order confirmation to the Guest’s email address. If the email address is entered incorrectly or incompletely, the Guest will not receive the confirmation. In this case, the Guest should verify the validity of the reservation with the reservation service at Danica Bohinj d.o.o. by calling +386 (0)71 888 887 or sending an email to [email protected].

Order

The submitted reservation is stored in electronic form on the information system server. The Guest will receive an automatic message with the content of the reservation or a confirmation of the credit card charge for the advance payment. It is recommended that the Guest save the received message and present it upon check-in on the day of arrival.

Prices, Package and Service Descriptions

All prices are in EUR and include VAT and apply at the time of order confirmation. Danica Bohinj d.o.o. reserves the right to change prices, written text, and content descriptions without prior notice. All services are charged according to the prices valid on the day the services are used. Images are symbolic and may not always fully reflect the actual state.

Other Terms

CAMP AND CABIN STAN

Check-in for Pitch Rental

Upon arrival, it is necessary to register all Guests and pets who will stay at Camp Danica. In case of non-compliance, Danica Bohinj d.o.o. reserves the right to charge the Guest a higher price for the service or cancel the stay.

Upon check-in, the Guest will be assigned a camping space or area that they can occupy. In case of non-compliance with the assigned space, Danica Bohinj d.o.o. may request an additional payment or relocation to the assigned space. If a free area is assigned, the Guest must inform the reception about their location.

Danica Bohinj d.o.o. always strives to find a suitable pitch according to the Guest’s wishes and needs. Danica Bohinj d.o.o. reserves the right to change the pitch number if the desired area is not available (due to maintenance work, natural disasters, etc.) and will offer the Guest the most similar type of accommodation available.

Guest Registration

The Guest must register immediately upon arrival at the reception of Camp Danica with their personal identification document (ID card or passport). For tents, motorhomes, or caravans, the Guest will receive a plate with a number, which they are required to display in a visible place until departure and return it to the reception upon departure. Guest registrations are accepted starting from 8:00 AM. . If a Guest fails to register, they will be in violation of the House Rules and will be removed from Camp Danica. They will also be reported to the relevant authorities for potential violations, such as disturbing public peace and order, disturbing possession, evading payment of the tourist tax in case of an overnight stay, evading payment for services provided by Danica Bohinj d.o.o., or committing fraud. If the Guest does not register immediately upon arrival or fails to provide accurate details about the number of persons and equipment upon registration, Danica Bohinj d.o.o. will be forced to charge fees equivalent to a three-day stay for the unregistered persons and equipment.

Guest Check-Out

On the day of departure, the Guest must check out no later than 1:00 PM. Failure to do so will result in an additional night being charged. The Guest may pay for their stay, services, and the tourist tax the day before departure after 3:00 PM. For paid services, the Guest will receive an invoice.

Use of Camping Space

In the unpartitioned area of Camp Danica, the Guest is free to choose their location, but must use the space rationally, considering the neighboring Guests’ space. In the partitioned areas of Camp Danica, the Guest must set up only on the pitch assigned to them. Only one movable vehicle for accommodation (caravan or motorhome) or a tent and one vehicle are allowed per pitch. Additional vehicles may be parked in the parking lot of Camp Danica. Movable accommodation vehicles may have an annex, provided that it is attached to the vehicle and does not encroach on the Guest’s space. Changing the selected spot is allowed only in exceptional cases, for a valid reason, and with the permission of the responsible Camp Danica staff. It is forbidden to accept external persons for overnight stays who have not been registered at the reception as Guests. The management of Camp Danica reserves the right to allow access to visitors and walkers, issuing them a free temporary permit. It is forbidden to restrict space in a way that obstructs free movement. Parking on access roads or pathways or temporarily occupying other pitches or spaces, even if they are free, is strictly prohibited. In such cases, the Guest will be charged an additional fee for the occupied space.

Use of Equipment and Devices

The Guest is required to properly use electrical and utility devices and equipment. The Guest is responsible for connecting and disconnecting electrical power, which must be reported to the reception upon arrival. Safety checks on electrical installations are carried out by authorized staff. The electrical power is 16 and 10 A, and the sockets are standard Euro Type C. Washing dishes and laundry is allowed only in designated areas. Car washing is allowed only at the designated location.

Environmental Protection

The Guest must maintain order and cleanliness in the area where they are camping, protect plantings and greenery. It is forbidden to fence off the area or conduct any construction work on the chosen spot. Breaking, cutting, or damaging plants (e.g., hammering nails, tying ropes, etc. to trees) is prohibited. The disposal of oil, fuel, salty and waste liquids, digging trenches or holes on the land, uncontrolled water spillage, and leaving garbage outside designated waste containers is forbidden. There is a designated place for emptying chemical toilets in the camp. Waste must be separated (plastic, paper, bottles, other waste) and placed in designated recycling bins. The Guest must leave used sanitary facilities in the same condition they would like to find them. The Guest should save water at Camp Danica.

Public Order and Peace

Nighttime peace is enforced from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. During this time, it is forbidden to move motor vehicles, engage in sports and recreation, set up or dismantle tents, or use audio devices, televisions, and musical instruments. In case of non-compliance, the Guest will be denied the possibility of continuing their stay at Camp Danica. The speed limit for all vehicles inside the camp is 10 km/h. Pedestrians have priority over vehicles within Camp Danica.

Children

Adult Guests are responsible for the behavior of their children and maintaining peace. Children must be under supervision at all times. Adults are liable for any damage caused by minors. The use of the children’s playground is at the Guest’s own risk.

Pets

Pets are allowed in the camp, but they must not disturb other Guests. Dog owners must keep their dogs on a leash and properly secured to ensure they stay within their designated area. Owners must clean up after their pets. A fine will be imposed for non-compliance with these rules. Pets are not allowed in the sanitary blocks, on the playground, or in other sports facilities (except for guide dogs). Each pet owner is responsible for any damage caused by their animal. A maximum of two (2) pets are allowed per pitch.

Fire Safety

Lighting fires outdoors, bringing flammable fuels, explosives, and similar materials is legally prohibited due to the fire hazard. In the event of a fire outbreak in Camp Danica or its vicinity, the Guest is obligated to participate in organized firefighting efforts.

Other

The Guest is responsible for their belongings and items at Camp Danica. The management of the camp is not liable for lost, damaged, or stolen items. It is also not responsible for any injuries or accidents in the camp caused by the Guest’s negligence. Any found items at Camp Danica should be handed over to the reception for return to their rightful owner. A guestbook for complaints and compliments is available at the reception. Guests who do not follow the House Rules or disturb the peace of others will be denied the use of accommodation services.

ROOM or APARTMENT

Guest Registration

The reserved room will be available after 2:00 PM. The Guest must register immediately upon arrival at the reception of Camp Danica with their personal identification document (ID card or passport), where they will also receive the keys to their accommodation unit. During their absence, the Guest is required to take the key to the accommodation unit and the main entrance on the first floor with them and keep it safely. Upon registration, the Guest must provide the exact number and ages of all persons staying in the unit. Failure to comply may result in Danica Bohinj d.o.o. charging a higher price or canceling the stay.

Guest Check-Out

On the day of departure, the Guest must check out no later than 10:00 AM. Failure to do so will result in an additional night being charged. The Guest can pay for their stay and other services the day before departure after 3:00 PM at the reception of Camp Danica. For paid services, the Guest will receive an invoice.

Restaurant

A buffet breakfast is available daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Guesthouse Danica restaurant. Breakfast must be reserved no later than one day in advance at the reception of Camp Danica or at the Guesthouse Danica. Taking food out of the restaurant to the accommodation units is prohibited. The restaurant is open daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

Night Peace

From 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM, night peace is enforced in all areas of Guesthouse Danica.

Order and Cleanliness

The Guest is responsible for maintaining order and cleanliness in the accommodation unit. The Guest should handle the equipment and inventory in the accommodation units economically. The Guest is responsible for any damage caused by their fault or the fault of those for whom they are responsible. Any damage must be reported immediately to the reception, and the Guest must pay for the costs at actual rates. The Guest should immediately notify the Guesthouse staff or reception about any pre-existing damage to the equipment upon arrival in the unit. The Guest should use water, electricity, and sanitary supplies efficiently.

Smoking and Heating

Smoking and self-managed heating are prohibited throughout the entire property. Smoking is only allowed on the balconies of certain accommodation units and in the outdoor garden of Guesthouse Danica.

Security

The Guest is obligated to read the fire safety and evacuation notices and comply with them in case of danger. The use of personal heating devices in the accommodation units is strictly prohibited due to the fire risk.

Order

It is prohibited to bring sports equipment (skis, sleds, bicycles, etc.) into the accommodation units. It is also forbidden to walk inside the building wearing ski or cross-country boots. A designated space under the external stairs on the first floor is available for sports equipment.

Possessions

The Guest is responsible for their belongings. The staff of Guesthouse Danica is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of the Guest’s property. Similarly, the staff is not responsible for injuries or accidents caused by the Guest’s negligence. Any lost items found in the accommodation unit or other areas of Guesthouse Danica must be handed over to the reception for return to their rightful owner. Money and other valuables may be stored in the safe located in one of the cupboards of the accommodation unit. Danica Bohinj d.o.o. assumes no responsibility in case of theft or loss.

Parking

Danica Bohinj d.o.o. is not responsible for any damages to vehicles parked in the parking lot of Guesthouse Danica or Camp Danica. In such cases, the staff of Danica Bohinj d.o.o. will assist the Guest in identifying the cause of the damage.

Pets

Pets are not allowed in the rooms and apartments.

Special Notices

Only registered persons may stay or overnight in the accommodation units. If the staff of Guesthouse Danica or reception finds otherwise, the use of the accommodation unit will be charged at double the price of the overnight rate for the number of registered persons. Visitors of Guests are welcome in the restaurant areas on the ground floor of Guesthouse Danica.

In case of loss or damage to the key or key set for the accommodation unit, the Guest will be charged according to the applicable price list.

In case of non-compliance with the General Terms and Conditions, Danica Bohinj d.o.o. reserves the right to terminate the accommodation contract.

Cancellation of Reservation

The Guest has the right to a refund of the paid deposit by providing written cancellation of the stay:

  • 30 days before arrival: 90% of the reservation,
  • 21 days before arrival: 60% of the reservation,
  • 14 days before arrival: 40% of the reservation,
  • 8 days before arrival: 20% of the reservation,
  • 7 days to 1 day before arrival: the paid deposit will not be refunded.

In July and August, if the reservation is canceled less than 1 day before arrival (or on the day of arrival), the full agreed amount for up to 3 days of overnight stays will be charged.

In case of changes or cancellations at the Guest’s request or due to force majeure, without any fault of Danica Bohinj d.o.o. for improper service, the Guest is not entitled to claim any compensation or price reduction. Cancellation must be notified by phone, in writing, or by email to the reservation address or the company’s reservation department.

Cancellation Due to Force Majeure

Force majeure refers to circumstances that could not have been anticipated or avoided before the contract was concluded.

The Guest is entitled to a free cancellation in case of the following circumstances, upon submission of appropriate documents: death, accident, or sudden deterioration of the Guest’s or their close relative’s health.

The Guest must cancel the reservation in writing with relevant proof to the email address [email protected] or in person at the offices of Danica Bohinj d.o.o.

Bad weather is not considered force majeure.

Early Departure

In the case of early departure, Danica Bohinj d.o.o. reserves the right to charge the full amount of the reserved service.

Final Provisions

The General Terms and Conditions for online reservations have the nature of a contract. By making a purchase or reservation, the Guest confirms that they have been informed about these General Terms and Conditions and agree to them. Payments made cannot be refunded in cash. All prices from Danica Bohinj d.o.o. already include VAT.

Any disputes between the parties arising from or related to the reservation will be resolved amicably. If not, the dispute will be settled by the competent court at the registered office of Danica Bohinj d.o.o. In the event of a suspected violation of the House Rules, Danica Bohinj d.o.o. will take necessary legal action.

Cookies

The website of Danica Bohinj d.o.o. uses cookies for the following purposes:

  • enabling the website to function and its basic features,
  • storing the settings and preferences of the Guest,
  • collecting anonymous data for website usage analysis and improving the user experience,
  • displaying advertisements that are more tailored to the Guest’s interests.

Danica Bohinj d.o.o. reserves the right to modify the cookie usage policy at any time. All changes will be published on the website. It is recommended that the Guest regularly check this page to ensure they are always informed about the current cookie usage policy.

Validity of the General Terms and Conditions

The General Terms and Conditions are valid from 1st January 2025 onwards.
